UNITY IN DIVERSITY!
Life in PATC (Pan African Theological College), now PACUC (Pan African Christian University College) have been very interesting. PACU is an international school, which comprise of not less than 11 nationalities, including Britain and USA. I like my school; I admired it from the time I came. I have been able to associate with different cultures represented on campus. I have been able to learn new languages and develop on those I knew before, like French.
In the past semester, God has been using several people to minister to us on “Unity in Diversity,” and they have spoken on the subject, “Unity.” They actually delivered sermons just as Mrs. M.L. Grey, Administrative Dean of PACU (- pictured on right), did. She gave a practical solution to this “thorn in the flesh.” She divided the students into groups of two, comprising of Anglophones and Francophone; groups of males with males and females with females.
They are to exchange notes on the first and third Thursday of every month. In the notes, they are to say something personal about their selves and their friends; they are to write out a scripture verse and give it to their friends. Other responsibilities are: pray daily for your friend, give him/her gift sometimes, have friendly and serious conversations and help each other when ill or tired. Then she spoke on togetherness.
Togetherness = Unity = Oneness
Eccl. 4: 9-12 John 15: 12
She composed a Declaration Testimony with scripture references like, Ps. 51: 5; Rom. 3: 23; Ps. 14: 2,3; 1 Cor. 12: 13; Gal. 3: 26-28; John 17: 11b, 21, 22. This Declaration Testimony enabled one to know who he/she is, where he/she is from (on earth), and their final home, which is heaven. From my observation, there is a crystal-clear difference. We now live in ‘heaven on earth.’
Truly, it’s nice here in PACU!
